Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor’s upcoming flight is boxing's attempt to resurrect the sport as they search for any shred of relevancy.  the quality or state of being closely connected or appropriate within the sports landscape.
However, tickets for this highly hyped event aren’t selling leaving people to wonder what exactly is the future of pro boxing?
 
Making any major proclamations concerning the future of the sport relies on the quality the audience is given to watch.

Lincoln Riley will coach his first game for the Sooners at 33 years old on Sept. 2 against UTEP -- just three days before his birthday -- making him the youngest head coach in the top division of college football. He said the promotion is a dream.
"When you decide you want to do this, these are things you just dream about,” Riley told reporters in Norman, Okla. "I feel like I'm honestly living a dream right now."
